Xiaomi’s Android One smartphone has gained widespread popularity since its launch. Mi A1 was the first phone that Xiaomi launched under the Android One series after which came Mi A2.
The Mi A2 received great response from the consumers especially because of its software (because no MIUI and no Ads), hardware and camera. Xiaomi claims that the Mi A2 successor will be much better and improved. The company has announced that the Mi A3 is coming on July 17. Yes, it is the same date when the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro are launching in India. Previously it was rumoured that the Xiaomi Mi A3 will launch on July 25 in Poland. Now, the company has confirmed that the Mi A3 will launch tomorrow, on July 17, and the event will take place in Spain. Xiaomi has been teasing the Mi A3 for quite some time now. The company has revealed some details about the Mi A3. The company has confirmed that the Mi A3 will be a much-upgraded version of the Mi A2 in almost all aspects including hardware, software, camera, design and among others. Earlier rumours and leaks revealed that the Mi A3 series will be rebranded Mi CC9 series, but now it looks like that’s not going to be the case. The Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite are now expected to be different phones. Alongside the Mi A3, the company is also expected to launch the Liter version aka Mi A3 Lite tomorrow.
Ahead of the launch almost all the specs of the Mi A3 have been revealed by leaks and rumours. According to leaks and rumours, the Mi A3 is rumoured to come packed with 6-inch Super AMOLED Dot Drop display that offers 2240 x 1080p resolution. The phone is said to including in-screen fingerprint sensor and a 32MP selfie camera.
On the rear panel, rumours suggest that the Mi A3 will include three cameras – primary 48MP sensor, secondary 8MP ultra wide angle lens and tertiary there is said to be a 2MP depth sensor. On the hardware front the Mi A3 is said to be powered by Snapdragon 665 processor paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Rumours further suggest that the Mi S3 will come with 4000mAh battery and support USB Type C port.
The price of Mi A3 has also been leaked now. According to leakster Sudhanshu Ambhore the Mi A3 will come in three variants. The base model with 4GB+64GB will come for 219 Euros, the 6GB+64GB will be priced at 295 Euros, and lastly the top-end 6GB+128GB model will come at 335 Euros.
